POSITION: Director of Behavioral Health Services
Salaried Position: $37,000 per year
SUPERVISED BY: CEO and Medical Director
POSITION/INDIVIDUALS SUPERVISED: All positions: Case workers, Peer Support Specialist, Discharge planners and intake coordinators.

Minimum Education
Bachelors degree required
Masters degree preferred or an equivalent work experience and education.
Required Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
Minimum Work Experience
3 years experience in nursing or social work preferred or equivalent work experience and education.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

The Intake Coordinator has both administrative and direct service duties:

Primary Focus: Will be responsible for all hospital, physician and physician extender network development and management. This position is also responsible for implementing strategies to improve provider satisfaction. This position will interact with Hospital and Physician Practice Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Directors of Managed Care and other high level executives. Ensures department achieves annual goals and objectives. Maintaining a Network of Primary Care, Specialists and Ancillary Providers. It will also include adding new Providers to augment the Network over 4 regions.
